Eyal Segal ｜ Solo Exhibition “LEVIATHAN” released online catalog
Eyal Sehgal’s solo exhibition “LEVIATHAN” (2020.6.19-8.15) was held at Schechter Gallery in Tel Aviv. We are pleased to announce the completion of the online catalog of the works presented on that occasion.
The prophet Jonah’s tragic figure in the Old Testament Book of Jonah is the source of inspiration for the artist and the axis of the exhibition.
The exhibition’s centerpiece, a series of three video works called “Whale,” is set in the Metropolitan Area Outer Discharge Channel in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture. This facility is reminiscent of the Prophet Jonah’s mission to prevent floods and prevent catastrophic disasters in local villages. Our gallery supported shooting there.
